Parameters

Length: The steel drag chain can carry a large number of cables and oil pipes with large weight. The free suspension length is large. The support plate can be made according to the needs of customers. It is suitable for machine tools, mobile machinery, etc. its bending radius is 75 to 600mm, and the height of the chain plate is 50 to 150mm. It can be selected at will.


Bending radius: The maximum travel of the steel drag chain is 32m, which is applicable to all traditional methods. It can be lengthened and shortened at will. In addition, the bending radius can be changed by changing the shaft pin.


The dragging length is equal to 1/2 of the stroke plus four bending radii, which is only applicable to the fixed connection when it is dragged at the end of the stroke. The fixed angle steel can be selected according to the position of the machine tool, and can be placed inside or outside the threshing area of the outer or inner circumference. Generally, the connecting part is inside the drag chain.


The bending radius shall be selected according to the maximum diameter of the cable, and shall reach ten times the bending radius of the cable diameter. 50mm to 600mm can be selected according to the selected table, and the smaller radius can be selected if the stroke is small.


Width of support plate: The width of the support plate of the drag chain is 50 mm to 600 mm, and the spacing between the holes is 5 mm.


Height of support plate: The height of the chain plate, that is, the height of the support plate, is determined by the maximum diameter of the cable. When the machine tool operates to the maximum, if the width of the bracket exceeds 300mm and the extended length exceeds 4m, for reasons of stability, it should be considered to select a drag chain with an increased specification and model.

Selection principle of steel cabledrag chain

Inner height: select the thickest one of oil pipes, gas pipes, water pipes, etc. as the reference height, plus at least 10% of the height space as the inner height of the drag chain. If overlapping, the actual height after overlapping shall be taken as the reference height.


Inner width: select some thicker cables, oil pipes, gas pipes, water pipes, etc. the sum of their outer diameters is used as the reference for the inner width of the engineering plastic drag chain, and at least 10% of the width space is reserved.


Pitch: the distance between the centers of two circles in a single piece of drag chain. The larger the pitch is, the greater the single piece can bear.


Bending radius: select the maximum bending radius of built-in cable, oil pipe, gas pipe, water pipe, etc. as the reference value, and leave more than 10% space.


Placement principle of steel cable of drag chain

15% of the remaining space shall be reserved to allow cables, oil pipes, etc. to move freely without pulling the drag chain in the radial direction. Conductors with large diameter difference shall be laid separately, and the weight shall be evenly distributed. If necessary, they can be separated with separators. During high-speed or high-frequency operation, the conductors shall be separated from each other horizontally as much as possible, and shall not be overlapped with each other. It is recommended to use separator when there are many cables, gas pipes, oil pipes, etc


Installation of drag chain

The steel drag chain is composed of numerous unit links, and the links can rotate freely. The unit chain link is composed of the left and right chain plates and the upper and lower cover plates with screws. Each link of the drag chain can be disassembled and replaced easily, so that the cable, oil pipe, gas pipe, water pipe, etc. can be threaded into the drag chain.


Connect the connector with the equipment by threading the two ends of the cable.
